The United States Postal Service needed a quieter and more efficient solution for one of its busiest distribution centers in Chicago, IL. The old conveyor system used noisy, inefficient conveyor belts that used excess energy and made working more difficult for employees. Due to the size and scope of the USPS distribution center in Chicago, the new conveyor solution had to meet its needs while reducing as much downtime as possible.
