Who We Are

Itoh Denki was founded in 1946. We started out as a small shop repairing conventional motors and soldering tools. From these humble roots, we expanded into the design and sale of our own electric motors. In 1975, we developed the AC powered motorized conveyor roller consisting of a standard roller tube with our own electric motor and gear set inside. Today, we continue to pioneer the Motor Driven Roller (MDR) market with our brushless 24V DC Power Moller® 24.

The Power Moller® 24 provides a safe and energy efficient alternative to traditional conveyors powered by large electric motors. Our Power Moller® 24 can be used in virtually any application. In addition to our standard and high torque rollers, we have rollers that can be used in low temperature operations, heavy duty pallet handling, wash-down areas, and more.

Our Power Mollers® are driven by a broad line of controls, ranging from basic start/stop circuit boards to fully programmable network controllers. We expanded our product line with the development of our transfer, sortation, and conveyor access modules that utilize our motors as the driving force and never use pneumatics.

In 1996, Itoh Denki USA Inc. opened our doors to provide MDR material handling solutions to customers in the North and South American market. Our business has grown exponentially since our establishment which led us to expand on our original facility in 2006, develop our current site in 2016, and recently add an expansion to our current site in 2024.

Our mission is to continue to pioneer the MDR market with quality existing products as well as with new and exciting innovations for a hassle-free material handling experience.
